Ngoma Safari Lodge is owned by the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust (CECT) and run by Machaba Safaris, which is owned by Alistair Rankin, Murray Collins, and Chris Hatshe. Together they are committed to creating affordable safari experiences in prime wilderness areas that honour an elegant style while being family friendly.

Ngoma is a small boutique lodge set on a plateau, overlooking the Chobe River and floodplain, with 8 thatched suites, all facing the river. While guests of the lodge have access to the renowned Chobe National Park, its secluded location away from the crowds makes for an intimate experience.

Ngoma Safari Lodge is a joint community and privately-funded project in association with the Chobe Enclave Conservation Trust (CECT). Through its socially responsible programs, the lodge enriches the lives of those living within this community. From day one, CECT has benefitted directly from a land lease fee and bed levy, as well as employment.
