Solio Lodge is owned and managed by proud, fourth generation Kenyans Tanya and Mikey Carr-Hartley, under the umbrella company ‘The Safari Collection’, along with Sala’s Camp, Sasaab and Giraffe Manor.
Unique
Horseback riding, walking, game drives and fishing trips to Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains are signature Solio Lodge experiences, as is the opportunity to see both white and black rhino in the same conservancy.
Committed
Solio Game Conservancy is internationally recognized as the most successful private rhinoceros breeding reserve in Kenya and is responsible for having translocated over 100 black and 60 white rhinoceros to other parts of Kenya over the years including six to Uganda. The conservancy provides a refuge to wildlife which would otherwise be deprived of suitable habitat and is an immensely important contribution to the conservation of wildlife in Kenya.
