This place is rich in history, smiling staff, and a languid air of being lost in time. A Sundowner cruise with Mack the Guide maneuvered among hippo to point out beautiful birds, including colorful bee eaters. Cuisine is first class, so is decor.
Guest Review

The River Club is a privately owned oasis on the banks of the Zambezi River. Owner Peter Jones personally hosts guests and passionately shares his extensive knowledge of the region and its history.

Bordering Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Victoria Falls is a World Heritage Site and the largest waterfall in the world. Situated 18 km upstream from the Falls and the historical town of Livingstone, The River Club offers a spectacular position on the Zambezi River.

Community involvement is vital in the Livingstone area. The River Club’s community projects focus primarily on assisting children via schooling, as well as income-generating activities for the adults in nearby villages. The River Club has also been awarded for preserving the heritage in the town.
