CONSERVATION: The purest form of giving (Safaricom Marathon)

23 March 2017

"To those who have always wondered how they might best serve the wider world,
wildlife conservation is, at its core, one of the purest forms of giving."

Thomas Kaplan

On behalf of Classic Portfolio and our Sustainable Africa ethos, Cara and Lara (our adventure junkies) are running the Safaricom half marathon in June this year. They aim to raise over £5,000 for the renowned charity TUSK TRUST. Tusk is a dynamic and pioneering organisation supporting over 50 projects across Africa initiating and funding conservation, community development and environmental education programmes.

Where do you come in? Please take the opportunity to contribute critical funds and help Cara and Lara reach their target which all goes towards conservation, providing hope for Africa’s future (we like that). Any size donation counts! All proceeds go to TUSK.

Tafika Camp

Owner run and bush home to John and Carol Coppinger, Tafika Camp is the base camp for Remote Africa Safaris, nestled in the shade of giant Leadwood trees. The remote location makes it ideal for those who really want to get away from it all and experience the bush in the true sense of the word. Situated on the banks of the Luangwa, the camp provides amazing views of the river with plenty of opportunity to see elephants crossing, hippos wallowing and king fishers darting in and out the river offering a wonderful way to relax when not enjoying walking safaris, cycling trails or day & night game drives!..
