AWAKEN, PREPARE & REIGNITE,welcoming travellers againWho is opening what camps and lodges by when? As we all face an oversupply of information, this message serves to be a short summation of what we do know, and an honest comment on what we don't. WHEN TO TRAVEL: While there is still a great amount of uncertainty, we are seeing lockdown measures beginning to ease across the African continent and restrictions for travel to and within various countries beginning to lift. WHY BOOK OUR PORTFOLIO: We have owners who are fully invested and committed to the future of tourism, they are responsible and have built sustainable practices that empower communities, support conservation and protect their natural environment. We are each Visionary, Authentic Sustainable and Trusted. Review the below timeline of the opening information we have across our 15 members and their 55 camps and lodges. Please note we are compiling a summary AWAKEN, PREPARE & REIGNITE timeline which we will keep updated as dates become more definitive. |

Mozambique
WHAT WE LOVE: Besides the fact that most of our team are beach fanatics and keen scuba divers, we love the fact that Mozambique is still rather undiscovered. Our Portfolio includes two amazing beach escapes in the Bazaruto Archipelago. Visitors who combine a safari with the more commercial beaches of Mauritius have no idea on how much they are missing out. Mozambique is renowned for its relaxed, tropical atmosphere and exceptionally friendly people, but by far its biggest draw cards are its expansive beaches, secluded islands and spectacular marine life. With a history of limited coastal development combined with beautiful beaches and amazing numbers of whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, coral fish and reefs. The setting for this experience is hard to beat.

Kwandwe Ecca Lodge
Set in thick vegetation overlooking a dense valley, Ecca Lodge offers breathtaking views onto an escarpment of steep shale cliffs. Expansive wooden viewing decks provide the ideal setting to soak up the bushveld atmosphere with a leisurely lunch or a sundowner drink. Rooms are airy and open, with barely a barrier between the indoors and the African bush. Highlights of the guest areas include the open interactive kitchen, a gorgeous rim-flow lap pool and the nearby interpretive library.
Each of the six stylish suites features a spacious en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, separate loo and twin hand basins. Furnishings combine contemporary sofas with venerable old collectables from the region. Wraparound wooden decks lead from sitting rooms and bedrooms to private plunge pools and outdoor showers.
