Forest Chem Chem - my family feedback

26 July 2018

TANZANIA: The exclusive-use FOREST CHEM CHEM opened 1 June and I was fortunate enough to experience the camp with my family a few weeks ago. Echoing the feedback we have had from guests, I agree Forest Chem Chem is seriously fabulous in every way.

HIGHLIGHTS:
  • SIMPLICITY — each of the 3 tents ooze style, are simple yet beautiful, and all have outside showers. One of the tents is a double family tent with 2 en-suite bathrooms. Max 6 adults and 2 kids in camp.
  • TEAM — we were extremely well looked after and my girls (yes, one of the above is a real tomboy) loved our guide and the educational safari experiences. We even had a dedicated kids-activity guide who inspired some artistic creations.
  • MEALTIMES — food was brilliant and we appreciated the simplicity, as well as the interactive aspects of cooking over the open fire.
  • SAFARI — located in the same concession as Little Chem Chem, this area has excellent wildlife sightings. We could hear lions roaring and leopards rasping at night, giraffes passed through camp, resident bushbuck are around and of course we had the most fabulous elephant sightings and much more.
  • COMBINE WITH — Gibb's Farm for some organic fun and the exclusive Legendary Serengeti Mobile Camp. This was the perfect trip. Use the STAY 4 PAY 3 offer (1 Sept - 20 Dec 2018).

If your clients can afford a private camp where they have a dedicated team and guides, this is the most certainly the best way to do a family safari. In fact, we had so much fun with in-camp activities, we skipped a few game drives! Here you have space, privacy, freedom and time to connect.
Forest Chem Chem is a MUST do for families in Tanzania!

Happy selling!
