GOOD TO KNOW:
  • REFURBISHMENTS — done in phases to eliminate disturbance, cottages are getting a make-over: floors and ceilings overhauled, new ceiling fans, updated upholstery and more. The first 5 cottages are complete and the next 4 aimed for later this year.
  • 2019 RATES — some minor adjustments from 2018:
    • Accommodation — rate increased by ± US$ 30 per person sharing.
    • Children 7 to 16 sharing with parents — increased by US 10, still great value at US$ 60!
    • Drinks supplement — halved to US$ 25 per person per day.
    • Transfer rates — significantly reduced for transfers to Lake Manyara, Arusha, and Kilimanjaro Airports (from 2019, it is US$ 215 per vehicle to Arusha, add US$ 50 to continue to Kilimanjaro).
  • FARM TO CRATER RIM — it's a full-day hike, for guests 15+ years, an incredible way to experience the Ngorongoro Crater from above, the journey equally as impressive as the destination. Must do.
  • SWIMMING POOL — being built as we speak, guests can expect to take a dip by July. Exciting plans unfold for the entire area and it's sure to be another favourite spot on the farm.
