Launching: Odzala Discovery Camps
02 March 2017
We are honoured to be working with the privately-owned Congo Conservation Company and sharing their commitment to protecting this vulnerable part of Africa. Furthermore, we are excited to expand into a new destination and include a gorilla experience within our Portfolio. All the visionary owners of Classic Portfolio have welcomed Odzala as a fellow authentic experience with a like-minded commitment to sustainable Africa.
WHAT'S NEW:
- SCHEDULED CHARTER — departing every Thursday, a Let L-410 aircraft flies guests directly between Brazzaville and the private airstrip in Odzala-Kokoua National Park (included in the 7-night rate). Private charters can be arranged for other days.
- RESERVATIONS SUPPORT — in our Franschhoek office: discovery@odzala.com or +27 21 876 2153.
- GORILLA PROTECTION HOTSPOT — home to the pioneering research of the Western Lowland Gorilla.
- LEADING CONSERVATION INITIATIVE — preserving a vulnerable rainforest, the “lungs” of our planet, as well as vast areas of savannah and mineral rich bais.
- OUTSTANDING ADVENTURE — with minimal impact on the ecosystem: tracking gorilla on foot, forest walking trails, kayaking, river walks, boating.
- DISCOVER RARE SPECIES — forest elephant, forest buffalo, bongo, sitatunga, various monkey species and rare birds habituate this pure wilderness.

PS: The CRIB SHEET, Africa Flight Access MAP and Africa Flight Access TIMES documents change on a weekly basis. Be sure to always get the latest versions.
