CONSERVATION

Kwandwe is a reclaimed wilderness and active conservation reserve where the wildlife and environment are carefully managed. Here, guests have the opportunity to get involved and gain a deeper understanding of modern conservation through a Save the Rhino drive, a community project or a rhino notching exercise (limited, because guests can experience this real veterinary exercise only when one is required).

Mozambique

WHAT WE LOVE: Besides the fact that most of our team are beach fanatics and keen scuba divers, we love the fact that Mozambique is still rather undiscovered. Our Portfolio includes two amazing beach escapes: the Bazaruto Archipelago and the northern Quirimbas Archipelago. Visitors who combine a safari with the more commercial beaches of Mauritius have no idea on how much they are missing out. Mozambique is renowned for its relaxed, tropical atmosphere and exceptionally friendly people, but by far its biggest draw cards are its expansive beaches, secluded islands and spectacular marine life. With a history of limited coastal development combined with beautiful beaches and amazing numbers of whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, coral fish and reefs. The setting for this experience is hard to beat.

Located 5 kilometers outside the Dzanga-Sangha Special Reserve in the Central African Republic, the central heart of the African continent, you will find wildlife as you have never seen it before, with forest elephants congregating en-masse in the bai, often accompanied by forest buffalo, or occassionally by the rare bongo, red river hog or giant forest hog. The river and birding experiences are dynamic and engaging and you may enjoy a cultural opportunity of witnessing the local Ba'Aka people practicing traditional net hunting, hut building and collecting medicinal plants still in use today.
