An oasis in the wilderness

15 September 2016

TANZANIA: Situated on the rich volcanic slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater, at an elevation of 5,447 feet, GIBB'S FARM is an authentic Tanzanian experience and a tranquil oasis within a safari circuit. Get active by taking part in farm life activities, guided walks to the Elephant Caves or hiking in the NCA. Give back through the community projects. Explore the Ngorongoro Crater on a full day safari with your Gibb's Farm guide.

TAKE NOTE:
  • NEW MAP — indicates the difference between HILLSIDE and GARDEN SIDE on the farm. A beautiful walk meanders around both sides to complete the picture.
    • HILLSIDE — Bustani House and the main house and restaurant are located here. Incredible views stretching far into the distance.
    • GARDEN SIDE — all the cottages and Deutsche House are on this side with a short walk over to the vegetable gardens and tembo fire area.
    • FARMYARD — the cows are moo-ving. Currently between the main house and Bustani, the new farmyard will be located on the far end of the 10 acre vegetable garden. Watch this space for an update on new developments in this area.
  • DONATE A DESK — local school children are in dire need of desks! For US$ 60, a wooden desk is created with your personal message engraved by hand. Guests can be present in delivering it to the school (take into account weekends and school holidays).
