What's new in North Luangwa?

19 July 2018

ZAMBIA: Remote by name and remote by nature; we are now even more excited to launch Camp Out by REMOTE AFRICA SAFARIS in the remotest North Luangwa.
Be warned this is not for the fainthearted! If you or your clients are even vaguely scared of lions roaring, hyena yelping while shooting stars light up the night sky - then stay away. But for those seeking a true connection within a vast wilderness, you need to check in at Camp Out.

Personally I love this adventure and feel that far too few safari experiences push us out of our comfort zone. Here, with some of the best guides, you are always safe but live on the edge for one night. In these moments of full connection and immersion in life ... your wild and primal self can be truly liberated.

HOW DOES IT WORK:
  • COST — no surcharge, minimum 4 guests (ideal for groups of friends or families).
  • BOOKINGS — available to the whole camp only, can be pre-arranged or booked in camp.
  • MEALS — dinner and breakfast are cooked over an open fire.
  • AMENITIES — individual hand wash bowls, fresh towels and soap are provided, with a shared long-drop toilet and screened dressing area a short distance away.
  • LAYOUT — the camp is surrounded by kerosene lamps, with the guides and armed scouts on the perimeter, taking it in turns to keep watch during the night.
  • WHO SHOULD DO THIS? — anyone who has done a few safaris before and truly appreciates an authentic experience in a remote wilderness.
